    Eric Pachowicz, Associate

Eric was born in Ventura and raised in Camarillo, California. Eric went to college at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Civic Communication and Media while also minoring in Economics and Environmental Science. Outside of the classroom, Eric played for the baseball team at Willamette University.  After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree, Eric went to California State University Monterey Bay for a Master’s in Environmental Science. As a graduate student, Eric worked on a variety of projects such as the impacts of golf balls on intertidal species around Pebble Beach, land use acquisition strategies for local regional parks, and the impacts of environmental stressors on coral and crabs.

Prior to joining the Munekiyo Hiraga team, Eric interned for the California Department of Parks and Recreation where he worked in Carmel River State Beach preparing management recommendations for the trail systems and vegetation. The purpose of this work was to improve park conditions for ecological function and visitor experience.

    Something you didn’t know:
Eric loves to surf, hike, dive, spend time at the beach, and watch or play basically any sport.
