Cynthia Sato, Manager
Cynthia was born and raised on Maui, and recently returned home after spending over 25 years in Japan. Cynthia brings with her a vast array of experiences working both locally and internationally.
Cynthia began her career in Hawaii after graduating from the University of Hawaii, Manoa with a Bachelors of Business degree. Cynthia was hired to open AT&T’s first offices in Hawaii selling to Hawaii hotels. It was here that she first learned about providing superior service with the spirit of Aloha. She was soon transferred to AT&T Japan in Tokyo to be their Director of Marketing.
Cynthia built her career in Asia Pacific living in Japan. Prior to moving back to Hawaii, Cynthia worked for leading financial firms in Japan. Her most recent role was working at JP Morgan Japan as Vice President in the Sourcing Group, gaining knowledge in contract negotiations, strategy development, project management, and client care.
Living abroad, Cynthia was introduced to different countries, new experiences, and remarkable cultures. Cynthia gained knowledge about “Omotenashi”, which describes a Japanese philosophy of giving extraordinary hospitality and service wholeheartedly.
