Eric Roberts
Eric Roberts, AICP, Senior Associate
Eric was born in Napa Valley and was raised in Mendocino County, California. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Wittenberg University while competing in 1- and 3-meter springboard diving before earning a Masters of City and Regional Planning (MCRP) from The Ohio State University.
Eric returned to California to continue his career as an Associate and Senior Planner at Metropolitan Planning Group (M-Group), a city planning consulting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and developed a comprehensive understanding of the planning field. Eric brings his experience in environmental planning, implementation planning, and long-range planning to his work at Munekiyo Hiraga.
Eric relocated to Hawaii in 2022 and joined Munekiyo Hiraga in 2024 in their Oahu Office. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and the American Planning Association (APA). When Eric is not at work, he can be found outdoors in the waves, on the trail, or hosting a cold plunge party at his home on the north shore of Oahu.
