The Keawalau project is a mixed-use affordable housing development adjacent to the Pouhala Skyline Station in Waipahu. This Transit-Oriented Development proposed by Highridge Costa Development Company and Kamehameha Schools will provide 537 units of affordable housing for residents at 60 percent of Area Median Income or less along with ground floor retail space. Munekiyo Hiraga prepared and processed a Chapter 201H Affordable Housing Approval from the Honolulu City Council.
