The Kaulana Mahina development, formerly known as the Wailuku Apartment Rental Housing Project, is a mixed-income residential complex in Wailuku that provides 195 affordable rental units and 129 market rate units within nine (9) three-story buildings consisting of studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. The project also provides amenities such as a community center, swimming pool, barbeque area, and play areas. Munekiyo Hiraga prepared and processed the Environmental Assessment and the Chapter 201H Affordable Housing Approval from the Maui County Council.
