The State of Hawaiʻi, Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) proposes to develop a 285-acre Master Plan on State-owned land located in Central Maui. Key components of the Master Plan include small, medium, and large lots for business, commercial, government, and nonprofit uses to meet varying needs of future lessees. Lease revenue from the project will support DLNR programs. Munekiyo Hiraga prepared the Environmental Impact Statement, an Economic and Fiscal Impact report, and led community outreach efforts. Munekiyo Hiraga is also assisting with State and County entitlement processes.
