This project involved a 40-acre expansion of Maui’s main landfill to include various solid waste management facilities. Munekiyo Hiraga’s work included preparation and processing of an Environmental Assessment and Special Use Permit Amendment applications, which included review and approval by the State Land Use Commission and Maui Planning Commission.
