Patrick was born and raised in Southern California, but has a longstanding connection to Maui County, where he was immersed in the summer PALS program and introduced to Moloka’i Hot Bread from an early age while visiting family across Maui County. Inspired by his upbringing, Patrick earned his Bachelors of Arts in International Affairs from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. While there, he began his career in public service spanning from Capitol Hill to assisting U.S. embassies. Patrick later went on to earn his Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of California, Irvine. When the opportunity arose to teach on Maui, Patrick joined H.P. Baldwin High School to focus on Spanish language acquisition and college and career readiness for over 100 students.
Inspired by the built environment, Patrick returned to the continent to launch a consulting firm focused on the planning and design of sports and entertainment-centered mixed-use developments. Upon transitioning back to Maui to be closer to friends and family, Patrick joined Munekiyo Hiraga and is excited for the privilege to again support communities across Hawai’i, now and into the future.
An avid waterman, Patrick paddles with Nā Kai `Ewalu outrigger canoe club and is looking forward to supporting the local high school surfing community through his involvement with Maui’s Interscholastic League.
