Improvements were proposed for the Lāna‘i Airport Runway to provide a minor extension of the runway. The proposed extension would provide for additional airplane safety in the event of inclement weather. Munekiyo Hiraga prepared the National Environmental Policy Act Environmental Assessment and assisted with State and Federal agency coordination.
