During her time in San Diego, Lexi interned with the San Diego Audubon Society for two years where she analyzed the impact of vegetation on nesting abundance of the endangered California Least Tern to better inform future conservation strategies.
Following graduation, Lexi began her career in cultural resource management as an archaeologist. This role took her to Oʻahu for several months and later to Maui, where she has lived and worked since 2023. After working as an archaeologist, Lexi decided to switch to environmental consulting and joined Munekiyo Hiraga in 2025.
